The Annual Community Christmas Dinner By Bounty of Bethlehem Has Been Canceled.

Due to the on-going concerns over covid-19 and restrictions set by our government leaders, organizers of The Bounty of Bethlehem Christmas Community Dinner have canceled the event. The meal is usually served on Christmas Day.

For almost 40 years Bounty of Bethlehem has been providing meals to those most in need including: the homeless, hungry or lonely, hundreds of shut ins and so many more. We have also served takeout meals, over 500 each year.

Over 700 sit down diners join us annually for the festive meal and hundreds toys get handed out to those children that dine inside and visit with Santa. Hundreds of volunteers serve thousands of hours to prepare ahead and dish up or deliver the meal Christmas Day. “It breaks my heart that we are unable to offer this meal for our community,” says lead turkey cook, Joe Wroble.

We will continue to serve by working with other Henderson County agencies to fill in where we can. We are asking for monetary donations in order to provide our help this year and plan to serve our traditional dinner in 2021.

Donations will be accepted by mail or by the secure website.
